Dale Brawn

About Dr. Brawn

Dr. Brawn was born in a small farming town in Saskatchewan and grew up in Brandon, Manitoba, where he developed the foundation for a lifelong interest in history and law. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from Brandon University before continuing his studies at the University of Manitoba, where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws and master’s degrees in both History and Law.

Dale later made his way to Ontario, completing his Juris Doctor at York University. During his doctoral studies, he was approached by Laurentian University to become a lecturer, an opportunity that brought him to Sudbury, where he has made his home ever since.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Brawn has become known as a lawyer, author, and academic, earning the respect and admiration of many of his former students. His diverse background and dedication to both the legal profession and education have helped shape the career he continues to build in Sudbury.

Jennifer has been part of the Brawn Law Office team for over a decade, working alongside Dr. Brawn and gaining valuable experience in the legal field. Over the years, she has developed a strong understanding of the legal profession and the dedication, attention to detail, and commitment required to support clients through their legal matters. Jennifer is currently preparing to write her Ontario Bar Examinations as she works toward becoming a licensed lawyer. Her decade of experience at Brawn Law Office has given her a valuable foundation as she continues to build on her knowledge and pursue the next stage of her legal career.

About Kaneesha

Kaneesha is a valued member of the Brawn Law Office team, where she serves as Legal Assistant to Dr. Brawn. As a fourth-year student at Laurentian University, pursuing a double major in Law and Justice and Psychology, she brings both her academic interests and her commitment to helping others to her role. Kaneesha is often one of the first points of contact for clients and takes pride in creating a welcoming, approachable, and professional experience. Through her day-to-day communication and support, she strives to ensure clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable as they navigate their legal matters.
